Hearst Gives Back School Supply Donation

The San Antonio Express-News, as part of the Hearst Gives Back program, supports giving back to the local community. We are encouraging all employees to participate in our school supply drive. This initiative will benefit kids who are less fortunate and in need of essential items to help them further their education and get the school year off to a great start. 

Donations can be made in $5 increments. Increase the item quantity to reflect the number of times you can donate $5. 

Benefiting Pecan Valley Elementary

Supplies will be collected: July 21 – August 8, 2025, at the San Antonio Express-News, 420 Broadway, Suite 200

Requested items include:

• Classic Markers (washable)
• Colored Pencils
• Composition Notebooks (wide ruled)
• Crayons (24-count)
• Glue Sticks
• Notebook Paper (200-count)
• Pencils #2
• Pencil Pouch (3-hole flat)
• Pink Erasers (large)
• Plastic Folders w/Pockets & Brads
